Canadian hard rock band GELATIN SKELATIN is the brainchild of singer Brett Kelly and is the fruition of the concept of bringing fun, 80s style arena metal back. After a few years of writing songs , the band released a self-titled EP in 2020 for which they enjoyed international radio airplay. The band returned in 2022 with thelimited edition EP “Year of the Skelatin” featuring the songs “80s Ladies”, “If You Can't Do What's Right (Do What's Left), “Bad Alphabet” (all mastered by Harry Hess of Harem Scarem and First Signal fame) and a bonus track cover song.
Gelatin Skelatin is also featured on a recent Warrant tribute album released by FnA Records, where they performed "So Damn Pretty (Should be Against the Law)"
Gelatin Skelatin has just completed a successful UK tour in Summer 2023 which included a slot on the HRH Sleaze 6 Festival, where they played on the same bill as Danger Danger singer Ted Poley and many other glam metal bands from around the world. 2023/2024 will be a big year for Gelatin Skelatin; plans include the new album "Big Trouble" which is being released via MVD (Music Video Distribution) and is a tie-in to an appearance in the cult shark movie "Kaiju Glam Metal Shark Attack".
